When i purchased a topflite d2 golf set from callaway over the phone, i wasnt told about import costs?
Written by admin on February 16, 2009 – 11:10 pm -Specifically, I asked where there any other expenses for taxes, import, tax or transport I should know about or have to pay, because living in Canada and Callaway is based American and the type of sales said no and if there were the problems that Callaway would take to cure it. I went through with the order and the only thing I had to pay was around 30 U.S. dollars in taxes, bearing the total from 399 to about 430. Convinco my golf to adjust later dall'UPS the 3 day and I see a charge for the shipment of about 39 U.S. dollars, which I called in and I got a refund for an office and import for 150 U.S. dollars! I spoke with a responsible and that I found out that the guy who has helped with the purchase of clubs was new. So I told him that duty should not pay his mistake when explictly and specifically asked where there some additional costs. I sent to the e-mail and faxed my bill and the UPS callaway said examine it. Rhyfeddwn I are entitled to compensation? Of the consumer or laws were violated?
